Remember how we were promised that operators wouldn't be able to make out physical details, embarrassing or otherwise, on body scans?
Remember how we were blandly assured that they would be operated by trained and mature professionals in an appropriately sensitive way?
Well, following the Heathrow abuse, here's another story about how scanner operators use their machinery and display that famous maturity – an operator in Miami was seen in the machine by "colleagues" who teased him about the size of his genitalia until he "went postal" and attacked them.
Remember, this is just how the operators misuse the machinery against one another. Heaven knows how they misuse it against the rest of us.
Well, it fits with the other broken promises on body scanners, like the remarkably absurd "they can't store images" lie.
